I wanted to revisit this subject and I was about to start a new painting when I glanced around the studio and saw one I had done over a year ago. I sanded it down to get a smoother surface and painted over it. I don't think I'd ever sand down a painting I was happy with it but I did like the resulting patterns and textures.
