I did three versions of this mountain pond before I decided to pull out all the stops and let the paint fly. The others were too tight, too grey, too predictable. The surface is a double primed linen panel from RayMar that's a real treat to paint on.

As much as I like your more realistic work, I'm really knocked out by the abstracted ones. I don't want to call them abstract because they still read, to me, as landscapes. Very beautiful.
